It is either a time to rejoice or a time to say your teary-eyed goodbyes because the contraversial Kamen Rider Fourze has officially come to an end.
We say “contraversial” only because the fandom seems to be split in half on Kamen Rider Fourze – half dislike it because of the goofiness and seemingly unimportant but always constant background cast of characters, while others absolutely love the relationships that have been built and get sucked in to the emotion when these characters influence the story or our main hero.
Curious what happens? Did Gentarou and Ryuusei manage to defeat the final two Horoscopes and save Japan from the Dark Nebula? What about Kengo … is he really gone forever? Will Ryuusei and Tomoko ever become a couple? And is there anyone out there that can take Miu away from Shun for good?
All these questions are answered in the final episode, “Youthful Galaxy”. How awesome was the episode? Check out the screen grab we took of Kamen Rider Meteor aka Ryuusei battling Leo Horoscope! We’re discussing the episode right now.

I think this episode would have been ALOT better if they just left kengo dead, and pulled an ankh with a movie or something
For the series as a total, I loved it , and don't see why a ton of people hate it. Shore , gen can be a complete dork but at the same time he's standing up for something he believes in (friendship). Which in turn just makes me smile for some reason.
I also see a lot of myself in gen mainly because I'm as big a dork as he is lol Dothan made me like it a lot more LOL
As for meteor , he's one of my FAV 2ndary riders of all time (right under accel but on top of birth). The "brucerider". Really made me laugh every time he wenwoooooha or hiya lol and he really added to the show in a "I'm going to kick your @$$ kinda way
So in all I'd give this show a high rateing of my 3rd fav kamen rider series
1.double
2.ooo
3. Fourze

Holy wow. I honestly didn't like that episode's writing very much, with most of the epic moments in the previous episode, but man, was there some great fighting here. Cool stuff, but not the emotionally charged ride that was W's ending.
I'm going to miss you, high school space drama. You may not have been perfect, but thank you for the gift of rocket choir swords. Godspeed.

Plus, Ryuusei was just awesome!

I actually really loved W's ending with Phillip returning. It was very heartwarming and very touching.
What I did not like about W, and that I think Fourze did better, was the sudden appearance of Utopia. Making Utopia the final boss didn't really flow right, especially when the heroes have little emotional connection to him compared to the Sonozaki family. It's not bad per se, but just a bit out of the blue.
On the other hand, having Gamou/Sagittarius be the final boss really brought the whole series full circle, in my opinion.
Matrixbeast says
It didn't help that Utopia was so dull.
Boring, droning voice, nothing unique about him, and all he does is just drop things.
Then he's "Oh yeah. I'm the new new bad guy and I'm super strong and cool and junk." And they have a second climatic fight against him.
Brainchild says
Well, my comparison to W wasn't about the actual fight, but rather Phillip's death/departure. The graduation ceremony thing didn't strike a chord so much. And that's not because I'm immune to high school graduations, because K-ON left me a blubbering mess.

Excellent ending to an excellent series. Not as good as W, but better than OOO.
