S.H. Figuarts Alien Zarab Revealed

Thanks to the sleuthing of Twitter user @_Erasu we have the news that Alien Zarab will soon be joining the ever-growing lineup of Ultraman S.H. Figuarts! First appearing in the 18th episode of the original series (“Brother from Another Planet”), the deceptive Zarab race has gone on to appear in Ultraman Mebius, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, Ultraman X and more.

From the pictures provided we can see that Alien Zarab will come with his portable communication device, removable “ear” pieces to simulate his shrunken state and a selection of alternate hands. Release date and price are yet to be confirmed, but it’s fair to assume that S.H. Figuarts Alien Zarab will likely be a Tamashii web exclusive item. We’ll bring you more information as it comes, but in the meantime check out the full range of pictures after the jump!

    The first alien to truly intimidate an Ultra arrives in the S.H. Figuarts line!

    No release information yet, but based on previous releases a Tamashii web exclusive seems likely.

    I doubt there'll be any mass release kaiju/aliens from the original series now (maybe Fake Ultraman but I doubt that as well). Honestly I doubt there'll be any more from Seven either (though if anyone gets through I'm guessing it'll be Eleking). The line's juggling both old and new Ultra now and we're inevitably going to start seeing Jack stuff soon, so anything from the previous two shows will likely be web exclusive.

    That's kind of lame. I don't feel like they are really doing anything to truly celebrate Ultra Seven's 50th anniversary.

    Oh wow yeah. Not like they're doing DAN MOROBOSHI or anything. I get that you want more, but you make it seem as though they've done nothing at all for the anniversary this year. Seven, King Joe, Dan, Metron, all within the last 8 months. That's quite a bit honestly.

    You know what I mean.

    They did Ultraman last year with a building set for the anniversary. Ultra Seven didn't have any specialty release. Ultraman has also had himself, Baltan, Mefilas, Gomora, Dada, Zetton, Version A, and now Zarab. Ultra Seven has had himself, Metron, Dan, and King Joe. What about Badu? Dinosaur Tank? Eleking? Cyborg? Iron Rocks?
