Shouldn't Kusaka be dead again now that the timelines are back to normal?

Well we never did actually find out the specifics around Sougo's reset. I mean everyone assumed that all the Riders are separate again. Yet from this trailer it looks like the shared Rider World from W onward still exists in some capacity because Birth and Accel are transforming like usual. So it's highly possible that Sougo could have remembered his interactions in the Fourze/Faiz episode and kept Kusaka alive.

Onto the trailer itself, that 4 Rider lineup shot looks really good. Also clever Toei, bringing out OOO, W, and Faiz with Grand. But hey, we'll finally get to see Tsukuyomi fight, so we'll get some good stuff plus the stuff we caught from Reiwa First Generation. Kinda hoping we get one more V-Cinema for Zi-O so we can get some more Tsukuyomi action.

I'm surprised they are only doing ONE V-Cinema atm. Considering how easily merchandiseable Zi-O is, I would have at least expect a trilogy like Ex-Aid.

Merchandising sale isn't really the same as Blu-ray sales. The merchandising sales are mostly due to featuring Watches of all previous Riders, while a movie like this has to stand by itself more (although they also have several guests to help).

Maybe being a complete jackass kept him alive this time.

I was thinking the same thing, but then don't forget, When he was Oma Zi-O he had the power of space & time and could create anything to what he wanted, so maybe he restored the timeline to where every rider had a positive outcome, like maybe Kenzaki gets to not only be a rider, but not be an Undead anymore.

Zi-O stuff have sold very poorly with massive price cuts after their 1st shipments in Hong Kong, not sure how the sales are doing elsewhere.

Zi-O is the best selling Rider series ever in Japan based on Bandai's financial numbers.

Still, merchandising numbers don't really necessarily match Blu-Ray ones (Drive had the lowest numbers post-W and yet still managed to get 2 V-Cinemas).
