Looks like Gai Amatsu will be getting his own spin-off series. The mini-series will be bundled with Zero-One's Blu-Ray:

    Nice.
I'd like to see how he stole other company's IP while copyrighting his company's IP.

Cool but this makes me question why didn't we get one of these blu-ray shorts for Zi-O? Especially with all of the deletrd scenes according to 7.5 episode they could of easily did what the Legend of Alain mini series did a recap of the show with maybe through the eyes of Woz using a combination of Original, stock and deleted footage.

But back on topic I think this might be like Snipe Episode 0 and be prequel exploring Gai and Aruto Grandfather relationship and the creation of the first Humagears.

Yeah I think you are right. It is cool to see them make spinoffs like this though since it gives the character more background lore to refer to.

I imagine budget for supplemental material like that probably was partitioned off for stuff like Ryuki, Shinobi and Brain (and the Supplementation Project). There was still a lot of extra stuff during that series even without BD specials.
