S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Alpha Edge Teased

The Ultraman Day celebration continues with the latest S.H.Figuarts Ultraman figure joining the popular line: Bandai’s just teased the release of S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Z Alpha Edge!

Other release info isn’t known at the time of this writing, as all we have to go on right now is just this silhouette. None of the less, we’ll be sure to update you on this figure once more info becomes available.

    Today is Ultraman day, as July 10th 2020 marks the 54th anniversary of our favorite giant of light.

    Honoring him and his legacy, Tamashii teases the newest hero who continues the fight in S.H.Figuarts-form, Ultraman Z!

    All we have is a silhouette for now, but given last year’s timeframe, Ultraman Z might be revealed fully at the end of July with an August pre-order start.

    Personally, I'm interested to see if they make Beta Smash and Gamma Future. We got the entire Tri Squad (took a while though and Fuma isn’t solidified yet) and R/B had most of their alternate forms, even though they were mostly palette swaps.

    Neither Geed nor Orb did get all of theirs so - let's see if Z's popularity helps out.

    Also: S.H. Figuarts Sevenger when?

    As for Z original getting the short stick, that makes sense. It's essentially the equivalent to a 'pre-form' in Rider; like Plat Form or Transient.

    Yup. Would still be cool to get the original, but if we're getting only his three fusion forms and whatever his super forms end up being I'm good.

    I'm not even saying it as a "it will never get made" thing; I think it is actually pretty likely given that it is so prominent and as said, it is Z's actual true form! It's just that for the purposes of the show and merch and etc, Alpha Edge is the actual base form, and hence the one that'll naturally appear first!

    As much as I agree, Alpha Edge is pretty much the de facto form so I can't totally hate on Bandai's decision.

    And I would buy it, just saying I wouldn’t be too sad if it didn’t get made.

    I'd honestly like to see the other fusion forms more, especially Beta Smash.
