Toei’s official Youtube account has released a short but fully subtitled video interview with actor Kenji Ohba to promote the upcoming Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger vs Uchuu Keiji Gavan The Movie.
Reprising his role as the Space Sheriff Gavan for the movie, Ohba is also known for his roles in the Super Sentai series’ Battle Fever J and Denji Sentai Denziman, playing Battle Kenya and Denji Blue respectively. Ohba will also be transforming into these two characters during the course of the movie.
In the interview, Ohba shares some of his experiences during filming of the original Metal Heroes series back in 1982.

I really liked the bit of him feeling a rivalry between the Gavan suit and himself. Kenji Ohba seems to really enjoy being a part of Tokusatsu, I'd like to think that his cameo in 199 was a volunteer role and didn't want any money from it.
