An unusual news item from this weekends’ Anime Expo:
The animation studio Studio Trigger has announced a new anime series based on the tokusatsu series Denko Chojin Gridman from Tsuburaya Productions!
Tentatively titled SSSS Gridman, this anime will feature a new story unrelated to the original Gridman series. Veteran anime director Akira Amemiya will be in charge of the project.
Some fans may remember Studio Trigger as the minds behind the short film Gridman: Boys Invent Great Hero back in 2015-
Sadly, no other information about this new Gridman project is available at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!
News from Anime Expo this weekend, Studio Trigger will be producing an anime series based on "Denko Chojin Gridman" with cooperation of the Ultraman creative team.
