This looks really hype! I can't for the 25th anniversary episodes and how the rest of the series pans out!

Morphin Legacy has more on this subject!
There will be a lot to discuss!
There will also be a lot to fume over if things aren't done correctly, and there is a risk of that happening!

Multiverse is a growing concept that's going to become more apparent later. Though the main universe is still going to have heavy connections to various series too. Like the original 7 seasons and Dinothunder. Some others are a little more scattered.
Some seasons vary, but the original 7 are all connected as is dinothunder. The rest vary more. Like Mystic Force(magic world has access to the multiverse, Travelion can travel it and other dimensions) and Jungle Fury might be different universes too. Lightspeed potentially. RPM definitely. Samurai is connected to original though. So it's not an all seasons things, but lots of them. And some might have alternate versions of themselves because of multiverse theory. Which is how the comics will likely be folded in too.

Personally, I never really enjoyed the idea of the franchise under the Multiverse banner!
Continuity errors are merely something to be explained or ret-conned if need be! There are definitely things that still need to be answered (which won't be in "Dimensions in Danger"), but that is for BOOM! and Hasbro to hash-out at this stage!
While there are definitely alternate dimensions with their own Teams, and there are moments where that is appropriate, I'm not certain if that was the best answer!
In the early days, what set P.R. different from Sentai was the idea that everything happened together and nothing was removed from what came before!
Now, P.R. and Sentai are basically a study in the Multiverse Theory, and basically doing what EVERY SCI-FI/COMIC FRANCHISE IS DOING TO NO END!!!!!!
Marvel and Spider-Man have their Multiverse, Star Trek has a Multiverse, Transformers has a Multiverse, and even Star Wars if you consider the "Expanded Universe/Legends" Stories a separate Universe!
This feels like a cheap hand wave-style ret-con to answer 25 yrs. of inconsistent continuity!
That said, the episode itself may at least TRY to make it interesting! Anniversary Episodes are always good discussion material, whether they're excellent or average or horrendous!
P.S.

My brain, as soon as it hears the word "multiverse": So we know, because of Forever Red and Once a Ranger that the first 15 series (MMPR to OO) take place in the same reality, and RPM has to be seperate. Super Megaforce probably brings Samurai and Megaforce into the same continuity, given the presence of Casey et al. DC is probably seperate, because they screwed up and got their Earth sucked into a Black Hole. There's also the parallel reality where the original MMPR movie exists, as well as the MMPR 2017 movie. Masked Rider is simultaneously within the "main" reality, and also a TV show in Time Force.
Basically, I'm waiting to see where they go with this. I'm sure, no matter what happens, we can handwave it away due to Time Travel.

I hated when RPM was put in a separate universe bubble, and I hate this now.
