I think I like original Gaven better. His chest as more than one color to break things up, the solid blue in G's chest makes him look muted somehow.

The original had some awesome colors on the chest. But the blue here is more meant to distinguish G from the original than anything else.

There just isn't enough of a difference between Gavan Classic and type G to justify the cash. One Gavan is good enough. I would be perfectly fine with this one , Classic just wins simply by being released first.

This exactly. If Type G had been a mass release (which I was hoping for given he's just had a movie out) this would be a definite buy. But two near-identical figures one month after the other? No thanks.

I'll wait to see what kind of prices this guy is on Mandarake.
