Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Ruder Kuuga Growing Form! Not only is Kuuga’s basic pre-form finally joining his Seihou brothers, he’s bringing along some accessories for them as well! For Pegasus Form, the handgun that’s transformed into the Pegasus Bowgun, and for Dragon Form we get the pole that’s transformed into the Dragon Rod. A great way to make an otherwise basic form really pack a punch. Release details are as follows

No one was expecting this one were they?? One of the earliest and arguably best alternate forms for Kamen Rider Build, Ninnin Comic Form is actually going to receive the S.H. Figuarts treatment! This is a pretty big surprise and pretty far out there announcement given how few of these type of early alternate forms tend to see light as SHF’s. The order page is now up at Premimum Bandai, though orders don’t officially open until April 2nd. As a huge fan of Build myself, I’m immensely pleased. Release details are as follows

As a part of their online event, Mezco Toyzfair 2021, Mezco has just unveiled what is sure to be an incredibly popular release from their One:12 Collective action figure line. Introducing the Mighty Morphin Green Power Ranger!

Revealed via Mezco’s Instagram and Twitter, the One:12 Collective Green Ranger looks like an absolutely stunning figure and appears to include at least both his Dragon Dagger and the Sword of Darkness. Given that this line is known for its wonderful accessories as well, we’re bound to see even more come with this figure. Currently there are no specific release details or pricing information available in regards to the One:12 Collective Green Ranger but we’ll be sure to update the community when we know more!

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Bandai’s Candy Toy Blog has released an official teaser image of the long awaited Gao King Super Minipla! For the time being all we have is this silhouette of Gao King as well as the silhouettes of the 6 Shodo Super Gaorangers in the background.

However, this teaser also promises more information to come next month, on March 5th & 6th. Today, February 18th in Japan, officially marked the 20th anniversary of Gaoranger in Japan, and in honor of that Toei will be livestreaming an event via youtube with the official reveals of both the Shodo Super Gaorangers & Super Minipla Gao King. Tune in then for more release info!

The 9th annual Toku Toy Box Giveaway has come to an end! With a TON of galleries posted in the year 2020 making our users eligible for entry, it was anyone’s game to win. As with previous years, we’ve dispensed with doing large prize packs for a small number of winners, in favor of opening things up so we can split multiple prizes up among multiple winners. “Alpha, Rita’s escaped! Recruit a team of teenagers with attitude!”

10,000 years ago the evil witch Rita Repulsa waged a war against the forces of good, but standing in her way was the mighty Zordon of Eltar! A wise wizard of the light, Zordon and his allies rallied the forces of good for as long as they could, until Rita banished him to a trans-dimensional time warp. Likewise Zordon managed to seal the witch and her henchman away for eternity, almost. Knowing she may escape one day Zordon prepared for her return, taking up watch on Earth from his Command Center with his friend and caretaker Alpha 5. With the original 5 Power Coins in his possession, Zordon would be ready when the time came, to create the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!

Finally the mentor of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and his ally arrive. It’s been 10 years since the last attempt to make Alpha 5 & Zordon in a retail toyline. This go around they come in the collector oriented Power Rangers Lightning Collection in 6″ scale and feature stellar articulation on Alpha and electronic lights for Zordon. Surprisingly Alpha is an incredibly dynamic figure while Zordon is the static piece you’d most likely have expected. The only accessory included in the set is a really wonderful call back to the very first episode of hte series, Alpha’s teddy bear which he holds tightly when finding out Rita has escaped. Overall this 2-pack does everything it sets out to do and gives us a really version of both characters in this line.

Continually hunted by 4C, Haruka Mizusawa stumbles onto the darkest secret yet in the history of the Amazon Cells. In a quiet mountain village children are cared for until they can find new homes. At least, that’s the cover story. In reality this is a farm for growing meat. Young Amazons are grown and sold to wealthy humans as livestock, eaten as a delicacy. Darker still, these children are bred from the blood of Jin Takayama, miraculously still alive. This horrific new iteration of the Sigma Project brings Amazon Alpha & Amazon Omega together for their final climactic battle. The Final Judgement is here.

It’s been a long time coming for me to review this set. Having collected every other release from Kamen Rider Amazons, I simply couldn’t pass up on this one any longer. Based on the Amazons film The Last Judgement, this set recreates Kamen Rider’s Amazon Alpha & Amazon Omega in their final blood splattered appearances. Remolded and repainted with copious battle damage, these two look live they’ve been through hell, and they really have. While they may seem like superfluous releases to many, they’re absolutely necessary to me. “Zack here, this is kicking!”

An interdimensional wizard asking him to defend the earth from a 10,000 year old witch may have been just too weird for Zack Taylor, at first. But faced with a choice, let monsters attack him and his friends or step up and defend the Earth, he was always going to do the right thing. Clever & brave, Zack was gifted the powers of the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger & the powerful Mastodon Dinozord! Protecting Earth from the likes of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, Zack was the first in a long line of Black Powers Rangers and powerful black heroes.

Finally rounding out the core team of the original 5 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger brings us around to our 2nd release for Zack Taylor in the line. First released in his Dragon Shield form, this standard variant gives us  many of the same accessories. The Power Axe is a straight repack and the effect for it cast in new colors, we get a pair of hands, the Blade Blaster gun mode as well as a brand new sculpt for the sword/blade mode, and we get an all new unmasked headsculpt based on the likeness of Zack’s actor Walter Jones! That’s more than enough variety to warrant purchasing this character again in my opinion.

Equipped with the Thundermax Blaster & Saber, Connor also comes with a brand new unique effect part for the saber, the Tyranno Staff, extra hands and an unmasked head based on the likeness of Connor’s actor James Napier! That’s quite the complete package for this figure.

Sharing it’s essential engineering and even some actual parts with Zero-One, S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Thouser is a pretty regal release. Gold & silver with royal purple compound eyes, Thouser is exactly as ostentatious as it’s user would have hoped. A lavishly detailed and well executed figure with a handful of design drawbacks, Thouser is complimented by his Thousand Jacker and even includes a Raidriser for use with other figures! While not a perfect release it will add 1000% more power to your collection.
