Ultra-Act Ultra Father May Release

After being showcased at Tamashii Nations 2012 it has been confirmed that Ultra-Act Ultra Father will be released this May! Priced at 4800 yen Ultra Father will include an effect part to replicate his signature beam attack as well as a Brother Mantle!

What part of the franchise does this guy hail from then?

Father of Ultra first showed up in Ultraman Ace. He is the father of Ultraman Tar and adopted father of Ace. His wife is Mother of Ultra.

There is a fairly involved family tree amongst the Ultras as many of them are related like a samurai clan, with various uncles and brothers and cousins in there.

He and Mother of Ultra have shown up lately in the Ultraman Zero-era films, where they have come into some prominance.

My only experience with Father was in Revenge of Belial, but he's still a total badass.

Yeah, with him and U-A Belial you could re-enact a lot of cool scenes!
