Go-Busters Vs. Go-Busters Cast List Revealed

Credit to user KRX for pointing us to this. AlphaHeroShock has just posted up the character list for the upcoming V-Cinema Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Vs. Doubutsu Sentai Go-Busters!

This information comes from the current issue of Hyper Hobby Magazine. Sadly and rather oddly this list excludes fan favorite character Beet J Stag! What could this mean? Is J missing after the finale of the Go-Busters TV Series? The Dobutsu (or animal) Go-Busters are supposed to be an alternate version of the team that our normal Busters will face off against. Perhaps they come from an alternate world that has no Beet J Stag?

Go-Busters Vs. Go-Busters will be released on DVD June 21st and retails for 6300 yen! It's time for final buster!

I feel like somebody at toei just wanted to see what Go-Busters would look like I'd it were a typical Sentai and this is what we got.

I'm fine with that. I'd hoped that Kuroki would be like a Dekamaster type character the whole show and that never happened. I wanted him to pilot Li-Oh

I don't think the lack of Beet J Stag is anything to worry about, he probably just wasn't mentioned because its a voice role/suit actor.

Since this is a V-cinema release I expect it to be a pretty silly episode, but here's hoping its the good kind of silly.

You can tell it's going to be a silly episode just by looking at how they're posed.

And was I the only one who thought there was some kind of typo? I thought this was Kyoruger VS Gobuster for a second.

I kinda hope the crew members actually get ranger suits. As is I'm just expecting them to have color-coded clothes and maybe there will be a plot reason for why they won't transform.

Also to chime in on the lack of J, maybe he's not in the Animal Sentai because this teams' theming does not call for robot companions, zords obviously excluded.

Really interested to see where they go with this one. I love alternate realities and the like.

This is exactly what I was thinking too! It's like one last attempt to try and make the Go-Busters likable and popular.
