I do not remember him in the original Godzilla, but I have remembered him in every other movie.

Oh hell yeah, be sure to include him. I'd like a role with importance, but with it being American made, I might be accepting of a cameo or background role...
He could play the Prime Minister of Japan or the Japanese Ambassador to the US. I think that would be a great little bit of fan service.
