At New York Toy Fair, Playmates revealed their line up of Godzilla vs Power Rangers toys.  These are articulated figures based on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers if they used popular Godzilla kaiju instead of their traditional dinosaur theme.  Check out images of the:

Toho has officially announced the sequel title for the follow-up to the award-winning hit Godzilla Minus One!

The next project will be titled Godzilla Minus Zero. Director Takashi Yamazaki will return for this project.

Following the incredible success of Godzilla Minus One a new project featuring the King of the Monsters has been officially announced by Toho!

Oscar-winner Takashi Yamazaki will return to write, direct AND supervise the visual effects. However, whether this new project is a continuation of the Minus One story or an entirely new adventure remains to be seen.

The legendary Super Sentai and Godzilla suit actor, Tsutomu “2Tom” Kitagawa, will be in attendance at this year’s Retro-Toy Con in Greenville, South Carolina.

Tsutomu “2Tom” Kitagawa has appeared (as a suit actor) in Super Sentai series such as Battle Fever J (Battle Kenya, Miss America 2), Denshi Sentai Denizman (Denzi Blue), Dai Sentai Goggle-V (Goggle Black), Kagaku Sentai Dynaman (Dyna Yellow), Choudenshi Bioman (Blue Three), Dengeki Sentai Changeman (Change Pegasus), Choushinsei Flashman (Blue Flash), Hikari Sentai Maskman (Blue Mask), Gosei Sentai Dairanger (Shishi Ranger), Ninja Sentai Kakuranger (Ninja Black), Juken Sentai Gekiranger (Master Bat li), and ToQ 2gou (child) in both the Ressha Sentai ToQGer vs Kyoryuger and Ressha Sentai ToQGer Returns movies.

For Godzilla fans, Tsutomu “2Tom” Kitagawa was Godzilla from 1999-2004.

Tsutomu “2Tom” Kitagawa‘s latest appearance was in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger as Mr. Su.

The wins for Godzilla Minus One continue to roll in.  On Sunday night, director Takashi Yamazaki celebrated as Godzilla Minus One won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects.  Not only was this the first Oscar win for the Godzilla franchise in its 70 year history, it was also its first Oscar nomination.  But just to add to the fun – Takashi Yamazaki not only served as the film’s director, but also as the supervisor for the film’s visual effects.  He becomes just the second director ever to win the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, joining only the legendary Stanley Kubrick (1969’s “2001: A Space Odyssey”).

Congratulations to Toho Studios, Takashi Yamazaki, and everyone behind the majesty of the Godzilla franchise on this historic win.

A new trailer has been released for the upcoming Warner Brothers picture Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire!

Director Adam Wingard describes this project as a “buddy-cop” feature where the legendary kaiju must fight together against an even greater foe.

Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire will be released in theaters on March 29 2024!

Legendary Pictures has released the first teaser trailer for the next entry in the MonsterVerse film series!

Titled Godzilla VS Kong: The New Empire this feature unites King Kong and Godzilla against a powerful new threat while exploring the mysterious Titans’ history.

Godzilla VS Kong: The New Empire is currently scheduled for release on April 12 2024.
