Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters Green Hippopotamus Revealed

After several months of mentioning this new character in magazine scans we finally have our first image of Green Hippopotamus! Green Hippopotamus is of course the final member of Dobutsu Sentai Gobusters from the upcoming Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters V-Cinema! We see him here with fellow new character Black Puma and their universes' Pink Buster (Rika Sakurada). Remember the Dobutsu Sentai is an alternate world version of the Go-Busters that based themselves on animals.

An interesting thing to note is that the actor playing Green Hippopotamus is actually none of other than Tatsuhisa Suzuki. Who also happens to be the voice actor for buddyorid Usada Lettuce!

So are Green and Black getting mecha?

Probably not but that would be FANTASTIC. Since it's just a V-Cinema there's no real reason for bandai to make figures. That's assuming they even have mecha in the movie itself. I've been hoping for some sort of Rhino or Hippo remold of the Gorilla DX for some time. When you combine the Ace with Gorilla and Frog, the Rabbit get's left in the cold. If you combine gorilla and rabbit with Li-Oh then Ace gets left out but you still have Frog. I've always wanted another Gorilla mold figure to fill out the combination.

I wanna say "haha, nice April Fools joke" but I haven't actually followed anything on Go-busters so I actually have no idea if this could be legit or not hahaha.

There's no way this is a joke. These characters have been known to be in the movie for months.
