Rumor – Austin St. John to Appear in Power Rangers Super Megaforce?

Recently, our good friends at RangerCrew.com posted on their Facebook account that the casting department for Power Rangers was looking for Austin St. John, or as his real name is, Jason Geiger. Is this because they want him to reprise the role of Jason Scott, the Mighty Morphin Red Ranger and Zeo Gold Ranger?

Can you even HAVE an anniversary celebration season without the original Red Ranger? What do you guys think? Share your thoughts and, if you have any intimiate details of his location, let our friends at RangerCrew.com know so they can pass word along!

Now this. This is so much better news than little boy blue. Question is, what powers does he bestow? Red Dino or Gold? Either way, I'm ready for the Epic!

I'm probably alone on this (I'm sure I am), but I would've preferred Adam for any MMPR tribute and Rocky or Tanya for any Zeo tribute. Never been a fan of Austin and I hated how he hijacked Zeo after his appearance, with nearly every episode afterwards featuring him more then the original rangers.

It'd be neat to have him back.

I'd like him to come back as Gold Ranger, but that's just me.

This is excellent news. Really hope it turns out to be true.

Austin St. John is not his real name? I'm disappointed But I would love to have all the original Rangers to come back make a cameo, especially Amy Jo Johnson (is that her real name??), R.I.P. Thuy

I freaking love how every picture of Austin nowadays looks like an incredibly proud papa.
