Busters, Ready, Go!

While the retail release for Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters Vs. Dobutsu Sentai Go-Busters isn't for sale yet, the rental version is out now! And with it we get our first looks at the transformation sequences for the Animal Go-Busters; Red Cheetah, Blue Gorilla, Yellow Rabbit, Gold Beetle, Silver Stag, Green Hippopotamus, Black Puma, and Pink Cat!

It's worth noting that that Green Hippopotamus' actor is actually also the voice actor for buddyroid Usada Lettuce! In this alternate world where Messiah was never built the Go-Busters took very different paths in life, becoming a more "traditional" set of sentai characters. Commander Kuroki is Black Puma, and Hiromu's sister Rika is Pink Cat. 2 worlds collide on June 21st!

Commander Kuroki kindof looks like Hitler for some reason, but over all this looks interesting

I kinda wish Pink Cat looked less like Pink Buster and more like an actual Go-Buster. Maybe she could have been a "remold" of Yellow Rabbit?

I'm assuming this would make more sense if I had watched Go-Busters, but it looks neat anyway!

I find myself missing it even more than I ever realized I would. I really do miss it, and this movie looks fantastic in all the right ways.

I'm loving how ungobusters like that whole sequence is.

I missed Beet Buster and Stag Buster.
