S.H. Figuarts Kiba Ranger Gallery

KiRyoku Tenshin!

This figure has been long awaited by both Super Sentai & Power Rangers fans but the time is finally here. Today's gallery is of S.H. Figuarts Kiba Ranger from Gosei Sentai Dairanger or for Power Rangers fans the original White Ranger!

Kiba Ranger is none other than the young boy Kou, grown to adult size after using his Aura Changer. His trusty partner and weapon the Byako Shinken (Saba) is included with holstered and extended blades. And though the choice of hands for this figure is limited this Japanese market Tamashii Web Exclusive release includes an alternate chest plate. This represents Kiba Ranger's temporary stint as the cancelled "4th member" of the Akibarangers from Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger Season 2 and it's alternate timeline where the Dairangers never existed!

Ironically the same young actor who played a young Burai/Dragon Ranger in Zyuranger also happened to play Kou in Dairanger. Thus sharing a rather odd connection to Tommy Oliver and his dual roles as both the Green and White Rangers in Power Rangers!

I don't care how many times it's justified by "All web exclusives have limited accessories," not even including a left hand to hold his sword is bullshit.

Anyway, it looks nice. Probably the only Dairanger I'm interested in getting (And it's not for the association with MMPR, actually. I love his chest shield ).

I just thought of something: Shouldn't he have an alternate Byakko Shinken with the Akibaranger logo?

Any one have tips for swapping the chest plate? I finally got my hands on the figure today and while I haven't tried changing it over, it looks like an absolute pain to do.

This is probably my favorite gallery you've done and the pictures are just top quality. Awesome awesome.

Missing a left hand but it's still awesome!

This gallery is even better than your previous ones.

Good looking figure, shame about the hands though.

If you can get a very thin piece of plastic or metal in on the right edge of the emblem (Kiba's left) there's a small recessed area on that side to pull with. It takes some working but you can change them out when necessary.
