Big news for Garo fans! First up, the long-rumored spinoff “ZERO: Black Blood” has a teaser at last, with an estimated release date of March 2014 and spanning six episodes.
And another new Garo TV project has been confirmed! Known as “Garo: Makai No Hana,” this new series will begin in April 2014 and tell the story of Garo’s newest user- Raiga; the son of Kouga, the original Golden Knight.
Both teasers were revealed at a Garo-based promotional event this weekend in Japan, where producers also hinted at the possibility of a Garo anime in the future, along with another movie featuring the cast of recently-concluded series “The One Who Shines In Darkness.”

I love that I live in a world where Garo has become a franchise.
Zero looks great, of course, and I'm definitely intrigued by The Adventures of Young Kouga.
Sentai says
If you think the show is f'd up just imagine what they can do in an anime without having to worry about the physical limitations of reality.
Zero looks amazing, and the new Garo looks good to. But I don't understand. The reason these shows, well all shows really, exist is to make money. And from what people've said on this site the Garo toys sold like warm sick in a bowl. So... Are the ratings for that good it warranted another season without the toys selling at all?

GARO is a late night show, where ratings are low, so it's mosly BD and DVD Sales. IIRC, the DVD and BD for Red Requiem sold very well, same goes for Soukoku no maryu

1. YES!! The REAL Garo armor!!! Interesting though, is it going to be a younger version of Kouga or a descendant? Does this mean Kaoru and Kouga actually made it past lunch?
2. Wow, I did not know David Bowie was going to be in the Zero series. :-D Since it is only 6 episodes, is it going to just be an direct to video series?
Switchblade says
Makes the timeline for Ryuga even more convoluted now, though. I'm just going to go with my theory that the TOWSITD (thanks, Locke!) universe is an AU and not a direct sequel.
