That was actually kinda cool? Shame Emma spouted teamwork nonsense despite being the distraction that made Noah get hurt in the first place. And by hurt I mean his sleeve ripped and then he pretended he got cut. CENSORSHIP.

You know, for all the crap we give it, there are moments in super mega farce that hint at a brighter future for the franchise. Correct me if you think my opinion is wrong but, while the audio and editing has gotten way worse, everything else seems to be on the up.
I find myself enjoying it... in a this-is-terrible-but-amusing kind of way.

So this is pretty much a direct translation. I hope this episode isn't entirely copy&paste form Gokaiger, but knowing these writers...I hope at least they have a lien in the beginning on how Noah has been training his Super Mega powers the hardest out of all of them to explain why he's suddenly badass enough to wield five swords at once.
At any rate, I don't find the acting that bad at all in this clip, so that's a plus. If they're gonna just go and copy the Sentai, they might as well put some emotion into it.
Locke says
I know I've said this like a billion times but I still don't get why people act like this is a fresh problem for Noah. In Goseiger, EVERYONE was a badarse, as such Noah woulda never worked with any of the characters.
"I'm not cut out to be a superhero" he whined in the first season, before doing six flips, catching his bow in midair, and killing the villain of the week single-handedly. It's like all of the flaws of Billy's characterisation magnified by a thousand.
If he does wield five swords without context, then that would actually fit with his character, as his character right now is defined solely by being utterly disconnected from his Ranger form. Everyone else is a better fit, yes, even Troy.
Noah is by far my worst character out of this whole mess because say what you want about the shit acting or whatever else, the fact that I can actually buy more into Sing Plants to Life Emma or Is More Robotic RoboKnight Than RoboKnight Troy as Rangers, compared to Noah, says everything about how much he sucks.

I see your point though. Although...Noah's the stereotypical nerd type while his counterpart in Gokaiger was swordsman, so it made more sense for him to be practicing blocking fifty blades shooting at him while un-morphed. Or maybe I'm just nitpicking, so eh.
TheFightingSpirit says
Wouldn't you prefer they had a scene like this one, than Noah simply whacking out the skills at a later date?
It's no worse than RJ training Casey or Theo for a few hours, before they manage to wipe the floor with the MotW... except this time there is the disconnect between Noah and the footage.
Locke says
Yeah but remember how Casey's training was cleverly made up of the every day that he found he could transfer across?
I DUNNO IF I CAN BE A SUPERHERO. Noah now says, as he literally unmorphed moves at super speed, doing duel sword training.
Sentai says
Oooooooh, Uncle Sentai's looking forward to this! A budding romance between Noah and Noah?! And Noah training hard and looking like a Boss! I cannot wait for this! (Despite not being able to see it)
