    This is confirmed.

    All we've seen for weeks is movie sites giving credit to stories from other movie sites. This is the first time we've seen a report come out that claims to be exclusive and doesn't revolve around casting rumors and that horrible writer that was linked to the project simply because he tweeted he'd do it.

    Orci's Star Trek work is commendable. Made me like an outdated franchise again. Though therumors of him directing the 3rd installment does not excite me.

    But this creative team has the momentum and talent behind it to make a pretty fun great film. But theres just as much that could work against it and turn this into one big train wreck.
