When the going gets tough, the tough shout out “GO GO MEGAFORCE!”, and they never, NEVER let go of their weapons!
TokuNation.com is back with another gallery and review of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5″ Figures, and this time it’s none other than the current leader of the team, the Megaforce Red Ranger with thanks to Fury Diamond from RangerCrew for hooking me up with this figure.
This is the first time the Megaforce Red Ranger has been released in 5″ size but how does the figure hold up? Does the detailing on the molding of the accessories continue to shine as seen in previous galleries? Click here to see the gallery and review!.
And don’t forget to check out our previous galleries and reviews from this line – the MMPR Green Ranger and Zeo Red Ranger combined gallery/review, as well as the Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger gallery and review! And stay tuned for two more galleries coming very soon – and a special gallery of the Titanium Ranger and celebrating his toy releases throughout the years!

TokuNation.com is back with another gallery and review of the Power Rangers Super Megaforce 5" Figures, and this time it's none other than the current leader of the team, the Megaforce Red Ranger!
Now, I didn't collect the 5" line of figures until Super Megaforce, so I'm not entirely sure if this is the exact same figure released last year (NOTE: It's not, the 2013 toys were 4" in size, making this an all new toy - KB), but it's a pretty slick looking figure.
As always - the amount of detail that went in to these figures is incredible. The black dragon with the white paint on the helmet looks incredible, and the Gosei Morpher is molded perfectly. A tidbit that I didn't even discover until after I had finished taking pictures is that the Gosei Morpher is removable from the figure - and that's awesome! It's really one of the only figures I've seen in this assortment have a piece attached that can come off. I may come back in the future and add some fun pictures of the figure holding the morpher.
I have been complaining about the soft plastic (almost rubbery) on the weapons for these figures and now you can see exactly why I hate it in this gallery - the weapons bend! And if they're bent in package, they will be forever bent (there's a few fixes but I'm not going to waste my time on a $9.99 figure). Thus, the Dragon Sword that the figure comes with is forever bent. However, the detail on the Mega Blaster is fantastic, and I was able to capture a few shots of just how fantastic it is in the gallery so please look for it. That weapon probably has the most detail out of all the weapons I've seen thus far.
Now to get down to the skinny of things!
THE GOOD!
THE BAD!
CONCLUSION!?
If you're a fan of Power Rangers Megaforce, or even the Super Sentai counterpart Goseiger, this figure is pretty much a must-buy. It's got more bang for its buck than the vinyls released in Japan, and it's the closest thing we have to a S.H. Figuart - and may be the closest thing we have for quite awhile. For $9.99 you can't really go wrong if you're a fan. But if you're not a fan, or you already purchased this figure in 2013 in the 4" scale, this may be an easy pass and a figure that, in all rights, could have been left out of this line for a more deserving figure (Phantom Ranger anyone?!).
