To start off this review, a Disclaimer: This is only the second motorcycle I've purchased for my S.H. Figuarts characters. For the most part, the motorcycles never interested me for previous shows, or they just looked downright silly (lookin' at you Kamen Rider Fouze). However, this release as well as the S.H. Figuarts Sakura Hurricane were both visually appealing to me and they felt like an integral part of the series - our heroes initially couldn't get to Helheim Forest without using these bikes. So, I snatched these up and my feelings are ... well ... read the review!
The Packaging!
Nothing super out of the ordinary here. It's a good sized box and comes with the usual accessories for the bikes - replacement handles and mirrors and the plastic stand so your character can look like he's riding it without the kickstand having to be down. The box itself I like - the rose-colored red really stands out and goes well with the other colors on the packaging. It's eye-catching and draws your interest with the vibrant primary color of red highlighted with green, black, and silver.
The Bike!
For starters - if you have the Sakura Hurricane you will notice that the bikes share the same basic shell of a mold - the under carriage and the various pieces that kind of round out the shape of the bike are identical. However, the remolding of the rest of the bike is done and it's done well - I'm especially fond of the rose at the front of the bike. The extra detailing done for the spokes and the chains are really, really nice - check out the pictures I took to see what I mean.
Again - there's not much to say. It's a bike that works as an accessory. I will say this - if you are a fan of Kamen Rider Gaim and you're on the fence on whether or not to pick up the bikes - pick them up. You won't have buyer's remorse and for now they're still relatively affordable on sites such as Mandarake to the point that they're cheaper than what the retail normally was.
Let's finish off this little review with our good and bad points!
THE GOOD!
THE BAD!
The Final Verdict
For me - it's a buy. There was no second-guessing myself. And for those who were big fans of the show and are sparsely collecting the S.H. Figuarts of the characters, it's worth picking up. If you're on the fence, find one that's cheap and pick it up because again, you won't regret it. But if you're not looking to complete the entire line or you don't really care for bikes and they don't look visually appealing to you, it's a pass you can afford to pass on.

No Lock form to hang off of a belt or sit in a hand? That's kind of upsetting.
Still, it's a gorgeous piece.

I heard about the deformed bike on the podcast. You have any pictures of that. Really curious to see.

I normally don't go for bikes (Gill Raider & Red Rhombus are the only two I currently own, one by default) but this one has caught my eye. The colors are striking and I like the look of the bike itself (Sakura Hurricane is almost there, I just wish it had a bit more color). I might try & pick one up eventually.
I hadn't heard the horror stories before though, that's unfortunate.

I have Sakura Hurricane, but I think I like this one's deco better, I'll have to pick it up one of these days.
I am pretty disappointed they don't come with the lock seed versions of themselves though, because I want to have a pile of extra lock seeds for the figures to fight over.
