As we approach the summer months it is with a sad (or thankful) heart that one of the more collected items from the Power Rangers franchise winds down to an end – we’re talking about the popular (and sometimes hard to find) Ranger Keys from the Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy line. With the final wave of exclusive keys being released at Toys’R’Us as well as ToysRUs.com, many fans and collectors are finishing off their key collections. To celebrate one of the more popular gimmicks in the franchise’s long history, we’re spending the rest of the week doing various galleries of the Ranger Keys with a self-proclaimed title of Ranger Key Celebration Week!
First up is none other than one of the last packs to be released – the Power Rangers Samurai Set B pack which contains the Red Samurai Ranger (Translucent), Pink Samurai Ranger, and the Gold Samurai Ranger keys. The only key left out from this team is, sadly, the Yellow Samurai Ranger (and the female Red Samurai Ranger). But getting in to the debate as to why we needed three versions of the male Red Samurai Key is a debate for another time!

It's Ranger Key Celebration Week here at TokuNation.com! It's time to take a look at the Ranger Keys from the Power Rangers Super Megaforce toy line, especially since the last of the keys have now been released both at stores and online, allowing collectors to (at least come close) to finishing the Ranger Key collection!

And now on to the Samurai Ranger Keys Set B gallery and review!
Right off the bat these keys stand out from the others because of the higher quality paint applications, specifically on their helmets (they have the black symbols as expected but they're also outlined in white). This is a nice touch considering some of the other keys released in this line (looking at you SPD!) couldn't even get the numbers on the suits highlighted correctly.
In specific - the Gold Samurai Ranger Key really, really stands out of the group. The gold and blue combination just pops and really makes you take notice.
Sadly - the weakest key in the group belongs to the Pink Samurai Ranger Key. The paint app on her helmet is off (and in the other packages I own it is off as well). And when she's next to the Red Samurai Ranger Key she comes across as rather plain because he's all flashy with the translucent plastic (which helps the key "pop" quite a bit).

CONCLUSION!
If you're not paying astronomical prices for this set (ie: anything above $15) then for sure grab it as you won't be disappointed. If you're just collecting and you need it to finish off the collection - $15 isn't as bad as some of the $30/$40/$50 I've seen some sets go for. But if you're a casual collector and you're not fond of Power Rangers Samurai, this set isn't what I call a "must buy". But this set does give you 2 more keys to the collection and a pretty nice looking translucent Red Samurai Ranger Key to boot.
