Episode Summary
Fury has the Ptera Dino Charger and the Rangers fear that he's close to figuring out a way to use it to control the Ptera Zord. However, when Sledge banishes Fury for interfering with Poisandra, Fury takes Puzzler and Wrench to an abandoned lab to recharge the Ptera Charger. It's a battle of the minds as Riley has to outwit the Puzzler to save his friends and the Ptera Charger! Can he do it in time?

I thought this episode was pretty boring.
I think it did bring some more character development to Riley in regards to showing him as the type to have spatial intelligence. But, I still think Riley is still kind of bland compared to the others. I was waiting for Koda to just smash through the vending machine or at least lift it to reach the quarter.
This episode was kind of just there.
Koda stole the episode. Still better than anything we've gotten in the last 4 years. 5/5 easily.
Puzzler is a great villain. And Fury is an awesome general.
A lot of original footage for the MotW which is really nice and giving our hero a moral choice that wasn't half bad. It is nice to see DC going in full swing for the second half of season 1 really the best Neo Saban season yet
Did anyone else have flashbacks of Billy discovering the White Ranger when Ryan was looking down through the duct at Fury?

Better in the beginning than towards the end. The villains are actually treated as characters instead of as "Bad guys have plan, Monster sent down, Rangers blow monster up, bad guys fume" fodder. "Fury" is a fairly simplistic name for a major player (Remember Furio from Lost Galaxy), and his voice is fairly generic at best, but he is a determined "cat" with a lot of easily exploitable "bad guy" qualities and internal "energy" secrets. Puzzler having a fit over kids and fighting Chase with giant chess pieces is unique. The maze sequence is one of the most unique tricks by a monster in recent years, and the effects are actually passable. Riley's geometrical/mathematical deductions and the use of 3-D chess feel a little too highbrow, and the ending is pretty standard and feels like a change of focus with Koda delivering the "final blast" before the Zord fight. Wasn't a terrible episode and actually showcases Dino Charge's attempts at being worthwhile.
Oh my god those children actors were some of the worst ones ever.
