Oh. Oh my. I do not like that. I do not like that at all.

You know, DX toys have always had limited articulation. But this... this is just plain awful looking.
IXRollOutIX says
The gimmick is a neat idea, and I think it looks... OKAY from the front. I just can't get over how goofy it looks from the back or the side. The void left where the arms were just looks awful.
GaoMuscle Longhorn says
So who else wants the Giraffe just because it turns into a freaking Mario Block?
GoseiWonder says
Man, so much of this looks like things from the Shovel Knight/Freedom Planet camp of "psuedo-retro Indy game." I so hope Chip goes that route when we get to this. Like Beetleborgs only better because the heroes aren't small children and half the plot is superfluous "characters" bumming around a random location doing nothing important.
Like, 5 indy devs release a video game they made and it becomes pretty popular. But something happens that causes the villains of the game to become real (not sure what but I would hope it's supernatural magicy stuff that isn't a Liberace Boo Berry) and the game's hints/tutorial/pops-up-to explain-a-mechanic character informs them that they need to stop the bad guys with the powers they created.
This works because kids like Minecraft and its pixely psuedo-retro thing and by invoking that pseudo-retro gaming motif, they get a pass on the mecha being a bunch of pixely cubes!
Also back to the pics, giraffe gun looks like a hyena.
Powerman293 says
And I thought the mecha couldn't get any blockier after Toquger
Tokumonkey says
So... Chroma Squad, GoseiWonder?
And yeah, I'm not even slightly tempted by the DX, and that hasn't happened since I first became interested in Sentai.
