Thanks to Bandai Japan we now have official images of the upcoming Orion Battler and Orion Voyager toys. This may be the final mecha of the popular Uchu Sentai Kyuranger series and the Orion Battler allows for a number of your voyagers to connect to form various exciting modes.
The Orion Battler has a total of 4 different modes as well as lights and sounds from the Kyurangers. The release date is October 7th and will retail at the suggested price of 12,000 yen.

*checks price*
*also checks price for Minipla King Brachion*
Both are supposed to be the carrier robos of their respective teams right? How come that the latter is still (if just slightly) more expensive?
Spearichu says
Is that really all it does? So far the only this I like about this is the club arm.
Azly says
Given that the Q1-Q3 mechas had slightly limited cluster modes I'm disappointed that we're not getting more of a cluster for Q4.
Spearichu says
I thought we were getting a cluster.

Wow. How very lame.

Ugh...conflicted over this. There's some cool stuff going on there...and some pretty lame stuff too.
Cool:
- A new, big carrier that can actually carry.
- Shoots Voyagers at enemies...hilarious!
Lame:
- Transforms in one step (spread legs), plus some minor parts forming.
- Doesn't have a third mode besides pretending to be a giant gun for the other mecha, of which looks identical to carry mode.
Think I'll wait to see if it comes down in price after the holidays.

When was the last time we got a good finale Mech? It's nice he is a carrier even tough he can only hold three Voyagers at a time but he doesn't even connect to any of the robots they just stand next to him while the three left over voyagers do attach to the "Cannon" and that's it. The line did start out strong I thought but the need for the Kyutama to be there and (while being a plus at first) all the voyagers being a arm or leg highly limited what could be done
Though it's nice we get a normal Orion Kyutama which lets me hope we can get an Orion White cause we can use another ranger.

I dig the robot design, I just don't dig the final comnination. And it doesn't really interact with the other 3 mech sm
