Thanks to the sleuthing of our good friend Matt Hunt (@TheRealMattHunt) we may have our very first look at the villain for Kamen Rider Build’s as of yet unnamed summer movie.
Rumors began circulating about this upcoming film and it’s contents early this month over on Rangerboard. This image may give us our very first concrete look at the movie. What we have is the supposed villain for the film, rumored to be named “Kamen Rider Science”. Rumors abound about this rider’s identity, but based on this image alone we can tell that he does use the Hazard Trigger in conjunction with a Cross-Z Dragon repaint to transform. Seemingly bat and or dragon themed, this rider certainly shares a passing resemblance to both Cross-Z and Evol.
Time will tell who this character really is as we swiftly approach actual details being released about the films plot, setting, and characters. For now, let the speculation continue in our permanent Build News & Rumors thread!
So thanks to @trademark_bot via Twitter, we now know that Toei's filed a trademark for a show called Kamen Rider Build. This could be next year's show after Ex-Aid, but for now, there's no official word from Toei.
In the past, we've learned of Zyuohger, Nininger, and Ultraman Orb from Trademark bot so I'd say this is pretty legit.
As the name suggests, we could be going for some sort of construction themed Rider though whether or not it has anything to do with the image that's been passed around last week remains to be seen.
Kamen Rider Build? Maybe his forms based on various heavy equipments or construction vehicles?
Hmm..I felt strong Boukenger vibes from Kamen Rider Build.

I'm expecting more of a building block theme than a straight construction one.
Bandai have already tried to knock off the LEGO aesthetic with their DBZ Figmes a few years ago, be interesting to see if they're at it on a bigger scale this time.

Hmm....if this Rider has construction motif, I think yellow with some black color is best colors for his default form.
