New SDCC SOC GX-76 Black Megazord Photos Released

MEGAZORD SEQUENCE HAS BEEN INITIATED

In case you missed it one of Tamashii Nation’s exclusive offerings for this year’s SDCC will be the SDCC SOC GX-76 Black Megazord repaint. SDCC is right around the corner, and many collectors have wondered what this Megazord variant will look like in either of it’s combined modes with the Dragonzord, well wonder no more. New photos have surfaced online showcasing what this figure will look like in the combined Mega Dragonzord and Dragonzord Battle Modes.

The SDCC SOC GX-76 Black Megazord will be available exclusively at Bluefin Brands booth during San Diego Comic Con 2018. Be sure to check back with us, and we’ll bring you all the exciting news from that event as it happens.

    As you might recall, the Black SOC Megazord and Dragonzord were revealed as Tamashii Nation's offerings for SDCC.

    New photos have since then surfaced showing what the Mega Dragonzord, Dragon zord Battle Mode, and individual Dino Zord modes will look like.

    Damn that battle mode dragonzord looks good with the Black Megazord limbs. That's freaking gorgeous AF!

    We need that in a show or special ASAP. That's too beautiful to leave in only toy form.

    Maybe it's just the way it was shot but the legs on battle mode look a little too big for me. Otherwise the megazord looks nice and the dragonzord looks nice by itself.

    That's the only thing I dislike about the remakes of the originals across all lines, even Legacy. They never seem to line the legs up the to heels of the Dragon like the original did where it felt more seamless.

    Either those heel spurs gotta go, or they gotta start measuring it right so they do line up to fit into that better. It's the only thing wrong with how gorgeous those colors are combined.

    Otherwise I love it, and want to see it combined to a normal SOC Titanus/Brachio for how the black contrasts to the white for a crisper nightmare riding megazord. It's got this almost "four horseman" feeling when you add in the thought of it on the pale white brachio. Like a megazord that should say the line "I am become death." With the dragonzord hanging off it's head like a pelt of what it hath slain.

    Even that torso plate looks like one giant evil grin from those colors.
