DX SSSS Gridman New Images Released

Posted on October 11, 2018 at 12:16 pm by Kiryu under General Tokusatsu News, Ultraman

ACCESS FLASH!

Studio Trigger’s SSSS.Gridman anime is well underway, having just aired its first episode earlier last weekend. Remember that awesome DX SSSS Gridman set that we first saw at Wonder Festival some time ago? Goodsmile released new photos of this set via Figsoku, giving us a much clearer look at this toy.

The pricing of this set has yet to be disclosed as of this writing, for now, all we know is that this will come out sometime “Spring 2019” according to the images shown. In the meantime, we do have these four new images to enjoy so hit the jump and check them out.

Here's another look at the awesome DX SSSS Gridman figure that was shown at Wonder Festival sometime ago. No word on pricing yet other than the fact that it will come out sometime Spring 2019.

    Price is up... 16000¥

I knew this would happen, typical GSC. Thankfully I don't care about this Gridman, but the price sucks.

To be fair, the pricing is a lot better than the ActiBuilder one

Anyone else irked that it appears the combined mode (Zenon redux) doesn't have elbows?

Doesn't look like he has elbows in the show either

What irks me is how they advertise the combinations yet don’t bother to actually show any of them - good one marketing team.

In 2018, it seems embarassing to have mecha and toy designs that lack elbows...

Little bit more understandable with this one, since those same parts become lower legs and more prominent as that even in the arm design. So this form is a bit more like an extra than a needed for elbows. As long as the other form has them.

Thanks for proving my point. The Sendai mech designs suck, but at least they have kids toys as an excuse

    The GSC version is $180?
