After being displayed last month at Tamashii Nations Tokyo, we finally have a clear look at the official images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II! The page for this release is now live on P-Bandai.
Scheduled for an October release, Zi-O II’s retail price is 6380 yen. However, as seems to be the case more often these days, don’t let the official pics fool you. While Zi-O II definitely comes with the signature Saikyo Girade, he does *not* include the Zikan Girade. Despite what these images suggest, the only way to get a Zikan Girade is still having purchased the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Ride Striker. The two swords should still becapable of combining, but you’ll need both of those releases to utilize it.
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O II will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive, so be sure to keep an eye on your favorite middleman services and retailers for pre-orders.

Aaaand no Zikan Grade. It's also pretty worrying that no images appear to show a combined sword mode; that would be a massive mis-step.
I'm very confused about the price with this low an accessory count. That's about as costly as Seihou OOO, what on earth is justifying this?
The web exclusives wouldn't be so bad if you lived in Japan, but for us international customers, the idea of having to purchase a bike for a frikkin' weapon is ridiculous due to the shipping costs and other crap we have to pay for.

I wanna pre-order this. It's my favorite Zi-O form, it's used often enough that I'd be able to use it as my "main" Zi-O...but the lack of combined weapon, the still missing detail on the Ridewatches and the general "meh" response he and the show get make me tempted to wait and see if I could grab him used off AmiAmi or Mandarake at the end of the year for a much better price.

The bike has an abstracted version of his mask on it. The Saikyou Gilade has his mask on it. I... am not a fan of this aesthetic choice. The only weapon that doesn't have his mask on it is the one that would require me to purchase a bike I don't want and don't have space for.
I'm starting to think we won't see anything like a satisfying release for new Riders anymore; Bandai will save it for the inevitable Shinkocchou Seihou version.
I'll settle for being pleased that at least some people will be excited about this Zi-O II release. I can't help but look at it as the inevitable early-series upgrade form that almost immediately gets replaced.

Kinda sorta unrelated to the topic but this figure made me remember how much I hate the fact that they are ignoring the Future Riders so hard.
Considering there's no obvious black repaint in the show yet Shinobi could be this year’s Tamashii Nations event exclusive, but man, I want all of them. Much more than any other Zi-O suit.
