Hot on the heels of Garo, Zero, and this month’s release of Taiga, yet another Knight from the Garo franchise joins the Shinkocchou Seihou line! And it’s finally a villain!
Kiba The Dark Knight, once known as the Makai Knight named Barago, was an early villain for the Garo franchise but easily one of the most memorable. The first evil/fallen Makai Knight, Kiba’s dark and dingy armor reflects the loss of his golden status after siding with the Horrors. This S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou also release represents the character’s very first appearance in the S.H. Figuarts line, having previously only been available in the larger and S.I.C. inspired Makai Kado line.
Scheduled to ship in April 2020, retailing for 9990 yen, Kiba will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive.

This looks epic btw, I have no interest in Garo but that is one sweet looking figure!

Ahh good. I'm on mobile at work and isn't always easy to snag the HQ pics.

Wait, is that cape plastic?

Still nice to see the Garo line getting some love though.

These figures all use cloth. Although cloth goods aren't very common in Figuarts, they're starting to become more and more prominent.

Also, batman

Honestly this is the one case where a plastic cape makes so much sense. Kiba's cape has such a unique tattered design, and it's so angular largely thanks to being CG 90% of the time in show, that plastic just makes sense to capture it's shape and look. It would be difficult to have cloth hold that same shape and look dynamic.
