SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider Kuuga Official Images

Bandai have released official images of their forthcoming SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider Kuuga candy toy set, due for release in Spring 2020. According to the Bandai Candy Toy blog, the Kuuga set will feature improved proportions and articulation as well as significantly more paint apps. The five-piece set will include a common body figure, and then additional armour for his Mighty, Dragon, Pegasus and Titan forms.

    The only thing about So Do that's bothered me is the ankles and elbows. Beyond that, I love them. Especially this set.

    I find the other two a lot more impressive. Like, they actually molded a detached bike handlebar; and not just that but they painted it? Just wild.

    Yes, but the fact that they included THAT PARTICULAR METAL BAR from the debut episode of Dragon Form to me seems a teeny bit more impressive. The revolver and the trychaser handle is impressive dont get me wrong, but THAT METAL BAR. On a shokugan/candy toy at that. That is like John Wick's pencil.

    This set is now up for pre-order on the usual sites. And the way its set up you can totally create your own Fanfic Form out of all the parts, of which I will totally do. Congrats Kuuga, you will be my first 4-inch figure.

    The red-colored pointing lines depict on which of the parts are pre-painted.

    This means that the Arcle, the weapons, and the crystals on the feet, knees, and forearms are stickers.
