Some of the first-ever Kamen Rider figures to be made available via Premium Bandai USA are still available to order.  Of course, we’re talking about the model SO-DO figure kits!  These incredibly easy-t0-assemble figures feature a range of articulation and many of them have never seen releases as S.H. Figuarts – so they’re the first official toys of your favorite forms of your favorite Kamen Rider characters!

There are two sets currently available at Premium Bandai USA.

  •  Kamen Rider Gaim – Kurokage & Knuckle Set
    • This set comes with Kamen Rider Kurokage, Kamen Rider Knuckle, but also comes with Kamen Rider Gaim Ichigo Arms and Kamen Rider Gaim Pine Arms!  This is the first official toy released for Ichigo Arms (excluding the ability to create the figure via the Arms Change toys)
    • It also comes with a Genesis Driver so you can make “Kamen Rider Kurokage Shin”, featured in the Kamen Rider Gaim summer movie
  • Kamen Rider Gaim – Bravo & Gridon Set
    • This set comes with Kamen Rider Bravo, Kamen Rider Gridon, Kamen Rider Ryugen Kiwi Arms, and Kamen Rider Baron Mango Arms.  This is the first official toy release of Kamen Rider Ryugen Kiwi Arms (excluding the ability to create the figure via the Arms Change toys).

The Heisei Week celebration is starting a little bit early and we’re okay with that!  Available to pre-order RIGHT NOW at the Team Kamen Rider website (via Bluefin Brands) are the following items:

These items have been brought over to the United States specifically for the Kamen Rider Heisei Generations FOREVER Movie premiere.  These are in limited quantity.  Most of these items arrive in stock on July 20th.  Help celebrate the Heisei Era of Kamen Rider and show Toei and Bandai Japan how much we want the ability to purchase these items on the regular in the United States!

Though new releases tend to come fast and slip past us in Bandai’s ever growing So-Do line of candy toy figures, we absolutely had to spotlight this latest reveal. Exclusive (so far) to the Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation  theatrical film, Kamen Rider Ichi-Gata is about to arrive in So-Do form!

Though Aruto never knew his real father, he was cared for as a child by a Humagear bearing his name and likeness. Unbeknownst to Aruto this humagear, Soreo Hiden, not only was instrumental in the launch of the Ark satellite, but was this world’s first Kamen Rider! Using the Rocking Hopper progrise key Soreo became the powerful Kamen Rider Ichi-Gata (Type 1). Able to restore berserk humagears and go toe to toe with Zero-One in battle, Ichi-Gata will be a must have addition to Zero-One collections and for So-Do fans in particular.

For now we just have the Bandai candy blog’s official reveal of the figure, but it should be in the upcoming So-Do wave beyond May when we’re getting Metal Cluster Hopper, 001, & Zonjis. Join in on the ever growing discussion in our popular So-Do discussion thread on the forums.

Bandai have released official images of their forthcoming SO-DO CHRONICLE Kamen Rider Kuuga candy toy set, due for release in Spring 2020. According to the Bandai Candy Toy blog, the Kuuga set will feature improved proportions and articulation as well as significantly more paint apps. The five-piece set will include a common body figure, and then additional armour for his Mighty, Dragon, Pegasus and Titan forms.

COUNT THE MEDALS!

It’s a double whammy of Kamen Rider OOO goodness today! Joining alongside our magazine scan magazine coverage of S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO GataKiriBa Combo, Bandai recently revealed the next entry for the SO-DO Chronicle Kamen Rider series, with Kamen Rider OOO himself.

Of course, So-Do Chronichle Kamen Rider OOO will be starting off with the default form itself: TaToBa Combo. Further release info is pending as of this article, but we can tell from the photos that it’ll come with his Medajaribur weapon, a long with a decent range of articulation.
