Rumour: New Sentai Trademark Filed: Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger!

We are now at the halfway point for Kiramager, and it seems like Toei just filled a new trademark for what could become the 45th Super Sentai: Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger!

The listing appeared via @trademark_bot, but at this time we have no way of telling if anything will come of this announcement or if Toei will even do anything with the trademark. Do check back with us in the near future though, and we’ll provide you with more info as it becomes available.

    Yeah I thought so too, but apparently Kiramager was trademarked on September too. Covid probably delayed everything too.

    I believe it’s a pun combining the kanji for kikai (machine) and sekai (world). So, “Machine World.” Zenkai means something like “full power.” “Zensekai” would mean “all worlds,” so there might be a soft pun to be found with Zenkai as well.

    Machine World Sentai Full-Power Rangers/All-World Rangers.

    Kikai makes me think of Kikaider, so my mind instantly goes to android rangers.

    Zenkaiger also definitely rhymes with Gokaiger, which... coincidence or nah?

    seems like kikai is made with ki from kikai (machine) and kai from sekai (world).
