Don’t say no – just live more!
One of the most successful lines (in terms of merchandise) for Kamen Rider in the last decade – Kamen Rider Gaim – is making the leap from DX toys to CSM and our wallets couldn’t be more afraid! Before we begin – what is CSM? It stands for Complete Selection Modification. It is basically your DX toys on nerd-steroids to make them as identical to the show as possible and usually with a lot of added features as well. Those nerd-steroids come with an increased price-tag making these items truly for the ultimate collector and not the casual passerby.
Announced and revealed today – the CSM Sengoku Driver. And while today’s announcement probably didn’t offer Kamen Rider Gaim fans everything they wanted in one shot it does offer quite a lot. Let’s look at the details and digest them so we’re all on the same page.

The CSM Sengoku Driver will come with a large plethora of sound effects, voice clips, and background music from the show. Thanks in part to an interview with the actors for Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Baron, we know that there are many theme songs from the show included in the CSM Sengoku Driver, including the fan-favorite “Ranbu Escalation” song.

I'm super hyped, but there are many people online who are balking the high price. I kind of agree? But I do think that they made enough changes and additions including the die-cast, bgm, actor voices, new modes, new henshin noises and even adding a de-henshin feature, something I've always wanted in the original.
Not sure I'm getting the Mass-Produced Driver though... Kinda annoyed that that one's a separate release and the default set doesn't include the blank faceplate. It's also frustrating that they're releasing Bravo and Gridon before all the others just to tie in to the new Gaiden. Give us the main four first! At least we can take solace in the fact that we're finally getting the Zangetsu Kachidoki Lockseed...
I am ecstatic. It has noises for Bujin Gaim and the other lame movie Riders! I should not be excited by that but I am. I love Bujin Gaim.
One of the slots listed just said "No image", what is that?

As much as I love Gaim (bought all the main rider figuarts and was my entry to kamen rider) Im not sure I can justify the price but I do want to see a demo of it to get a better idea
So is there like a difference between the mass-produced Driver and the original one aside from the belt? I don't see much difference.

Well, got my pre-order in at Tokullectibles. The Premium Bandai Japan site is really slow right now, these CSMs must be selling like crazy with such high site traffic.
Gonna put my preorder in at Tokullectibles soon too.
And I love it when both of them are fidgeting with the lever like it is a kitchen knife.
