Hasbro Fan-First Friday Reveals: Power Rangers Dino Fury Toys & Cast!

During today’s Fan First Friday stream, Hasbro revealed a plethora of new details for the upcoming season Power Rangers Dino Fury!

Power Rangers toy design lead John Warden and fellow designer Jordan joined the stream to reveal the first Dino Fury toys-

*Leading off was the Basic assortment of standard Power Rangers action figures- specifically Dino Fury Red, Dino Fury Blue & Dino Fury Pink alongside a villain named BoomTower– which some fans might recognize as Tankjoh from Kishiryu Sentai RyuSoulger.

*Next up was the Dino Fury Morpher! This wrist-mounted device uses special Power Keys to unlock new abilities for the Dino Fury Rangers. Each Basic figure includes a Power Key.

*A sub-line called Basic Attackers was also revealed; this category features a Dino Fury Ranger figure with special attack features packaged with a Monster.

*The Dino Fury Zords are still in prototype phase but we were given a quick look at the T-Rex Champion Zord and the four core Zords for this series.

Last but certainly not least, we got to meet the rest of the Dino Fury Rangers!

*Chance Perez will play Javier the Dino Fury Black Ranger.
*Tessa Rao will portray Izzy, the Dino Fury Green Ranger- a genderswap from the Super Sentai counterpart.

Power Rangers Dino Fury is scheduled to hit TV and toy shelves in 2021. Stay tuned to TokuNation for this exciting new chapter in Ranger history!

    • New pre-orders go up at 1 PM EST today!
    • We get to see new renders of a bunch of the figures revealed at PulseCon. They look nice!
    • We get to see some prototypes too! The sculptwork and paintjob look nice! Hopefully they don't get removed in the retail releases.
    • Still no paint on the belts and morphers though.
    • Astronema uses a different body from the standard Female Ranger bodies. The proportions look much better!
    • Been revealed that all of the Monsters will be around 8 inches tall.
    • Both King Sphinx and Pumpkin Rapper have almost entirely unique sculpts. Nice!
    • Sadly, Pumpkin Rapper's' eyes and mouth don't seem to be painted.
    • Pumpkin Rapper is now in Legacy Wars.
    • Both Go Go Power Rangers and Boom Studio's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers comics are now finished. In their place is two new comics simply titled "Mighty Morphin'" and "Power Rangers."
    • Basic line of Dino Fury character toys revealed. They come with Power Keys that will be compatable with Zord and Morpher toys coming later.
    • Cast reveal for the Black and Green Dino Fury Rangers

    That was... incredibly disappointing, wow. No actual new LC reveals - even if the previously-revealed ones do look nice in person - and the basic line doesn't even include their actual weapons. Real downgrade from their Go-Busters line. And then the keys are static plastic with tacky holofoil stickers, they really thought we wanted to see the bad gimmick figures and thought they could get some sales by saying "they're just like Sofubis!"... at least the mecha has a little more articulation and Green's a girl.

    Terrible stream compared to Transformers'. At least have a single LC reveal or something.

    The Dino Fury Champion Megazord is exactly what I wanted. Finally a main line Megazord with Modern Transformers articulation. This is why John Warden is on Power Rangers

    Incredibly strange that those Dino Fury toys don't seem to feature whatever the Ryusoul-Ken equivalent is. I'm expecting new merch of course, but surely the amount of footage in the show where they are wielding their regular swords will far eclipse them using PR original stuff.

    Of course the mecha are where it's at. A new and improved line of those dinosaurs capable of lego-ing together anyway you want is pretty exciting.

    They even mention that those new weapons won't be in the show.

    I didn't even catch that. Oh, that's... hrm. Getting memories of this Batman toy I owned as child that wielded a translucent blue bazooka and even back then thinking 'this doesnt seem right'.

    I really didn't care for the head/key gimmick in... Ryusolger? (I didn't keep up with it) but at least those keys folded up.

    This is just... I dunno.

    Probably pass on all this because I've never cared for the "Lego" aspect either.

    I'm watching the very cool video. Ranger Keys again but new love it. Love the card art & knowing that the toys come out later this year. May be Black Friday?
