SH Figuarts Kamen Rider Bravo King Durian Arms Revealed!

The second of the "Gaim Gaiden: Kamen Rider Gridon VS Kamen Rider Bravo" figures, we have Oren Pierre Alfonzo in his new form: King Durian Arms!

The figure goes up for pre-order today, is planned for a June 2020 release, costs ¥6380 and includes:

2x "Giga Duri Noko" weapons, 3x sets of hands and a closed King Durian Lockseed. The figure also features a cloth cape.

Actual cloth cape?!? Nice Bandai! Good to know this is a trend in the future and moving away from those awful plastic capes.

Not interested in this though; the red, black and gold color scheme clashes too much with the green.

Even though I like both as is I wish they colored the undersuits accordingly.

Gridon with a white undersuit and red armor pieces with gold highlights, Bravo with a black undersuit + golden armor pieces and red spikes.

Yes, these are supposed to be regular Arms Changes so that wouldn't make sense, then again these are pretty much treated as super forms and they do change things about the suit a regular Arms Change wouldn't. Gridon gets the fur around his neck, Bravo the cape.

Plus, Bravo’s spikes on the arms and legs are already black when they should still be purple if we go by the Arms Change logic. Then again King Durian Arms also isn't an Arms Change at all but a corrupted Durian Arms so... why even bother with logic here

So I googled red durians and apparently it is a thing where the shell's core is red and the edges on the spikes are green. Also the actual fruit's skin is a vibrant red as well it seems. That said, loving this color scheme. Even for a repaint this looks nice alongside Lychee Kabuto.

Plenty of services to go around, and aren’t you from the US? Quite a few online retailers there carry them.

I can recommend Zenmarket if there's nothing else, but I'm pretty sure there's many normal middlemen that'll carry it. I just found Nin Nin Game's listing for Gridon's new form, and that's at retail price; so they should be fine once they put Bravo up?

I've had good experiences with zenmarket and nin nin game. I can recommend both.

Love the character and his dynamic with Gridon but the suits were just straight up ugly to me. These new ones somehow look even worse to me. Probably the colour scheme.

Despite my...frequency with buying figuarts, I'm not used to pre-ordering items. So I'm not always sure as to which sites will or won't have them, sadly. Lol!
