Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Polygon Pictures anime project set in the monster robot world of Pacific Rim!
Titled Pacific Rim: The Black, this series features two siblings discovering an abandoned Jaeger Robot and fighting across the Kaiju-infected continent of Australia.
Pacific Rim: The Black premieres on Netflix March 4 2021.

No, not really. I was still anticipating it.
Daikaijuman54 says
All right, is it just me or did they take more pride in the animation here than they did in the Polygon Godzilla Anime Trilogy? It's funny how BOTH of these were on my mind the day we were getting an abundance of kaiju related stuff getting dropped.
Anyway, I'll have to see more of this before deciding whether or not to watch it, since I wasn't impressed with either the Godzilla Anime Trilogy or Pacific Rim: Uprising, the latter being somewhat more disappointing to me, since it was a sequel to a great kaiju movie.
DreamSword says
I guess this is my sign to finally watch Pacific Rim.
Guyver Spawn says
We also have a King Kong anime coming out that is tied with the Monsterverse as well.
Sunred says
Netflix should invest in Kamen Rider Spirits. Get David Production to do it too.

Pacific Rim Anime could not be a more fitting title for this show. Not sure how I feel about this, though it actually looks... better than the Godzilla Trilogy they did. I really like the Jeager design and the Kaiju look great, so I'll consider seeing this. Only problem is... I don't have Netflix anymore.
