Pacific Rim: The Black Robot Damashii Atlas Destroyer Revealed

The new anime series Pacific Rim: The Black is now available streaming on Netflix and the first official piece of merchandise for this new series has been confirmed!

Bandai Japan will bring the new Jaeger Mecha from this series- codenamed Atlas Destroyer– to the Robot Damashii series. This release includes an impressive range of articulation along with a very unique weapon assortment.

Robot Damashii Atlas Destroyer will be released in September 2021. The price is a very modest 3850 Yen before shipping and handling.

    Oh yeah, gotta watch that anime.

    And this really just serves to remind me of my disappointment that they never went back and did Jaegars from the original movie... Still want a Gypsy Danger that won't snap at a moment's notice..

    Weird it's P-Bandai. It being the starter mech, I'd figure it'd be a general release. Altho, I guess with how bad the Uprising ones sold, this was them playing it safe.

    The colors look... Okay? I mean, it's at least a lot more colorful which I like. The lack of the show's cel shading definitely made it look a bit weird now, tho.

    Same I really want the other Jaegars, so I can make a nice display.

    I watched the first two episodes. Its.. eh just not tonally I want I would have liked from the franchise.

    Here's a really bad picture of it I saw today at the Tamashii Nations popup in NYC.

    It was roped off and up high so I couldn't get a good picture.
