Anime studio Kadokawa has offered the first look at a new project starring the Invincible Friend To All Children- the kaiju Gamera!
This will be the first proper Gamera project since 2006.
Sadly, an exact release date has not been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details!

Which studio? Studio ENGI. Who are they? It's a studio first founded in 2018 and their projects includes Uzaki-Chan, Kantai Collection anime, The Detective is Already Dead, Full Dive, Management of a Novice Alchemist, Kemono Michi: Rise Up and Trapped in a Dating Sim.
They don't have many "big projects" under their name and they don't have the experience Polygon Pictures, Production I.G, Sola Digital Arts, and Bones had when they did their CGI projects.
Looks fun! I'll be sure to check it out.
Oh jeez, that CG is something else. It still looks pretty fun, though, and I can't imagine it working in 2D. I'll still give it a shot. I just wish studios could figure out how to make movement look more fluid in these types of productions.
