First Look: Shogukan Modeling Project DaiRenOh!

under Super Sentai

Bandai Japan has published the first images from the next release in the fan-favorite Shogukan Modeling Project toyline- the DaiRenOh from Gosei Sentai Dairanger!

This release includes all five of the Heavenly Chi Beasts with the ability to transform into RyuSeiOh and Heavenly Chi Palace along with the DaiRenOh configuration. The Chi Palace stand also serves as weapon & accessory storage for the team.

SMP DaiRenOh is available for preorder at Tokullectibles

Release is currently scheduled for August 2023 with a price of 7920 Yen.

    I hoped that we’d eventually get the Thunderzords in Minipla! Glad it’s finally happening (and for the 30th anniversary of Dairanger/Squadron)

    I've been waiting for this for ages.

    I think it's a safe assumption we'll get Won Tiger as well, but I'm really hoping we get Daimugen and Daijinryuu as well (not sure how they'll work, but I still want it)

    Really excited to see RyuseiOh. It's one of my favorite mech designs. If I can, I'd love to somehow just get it by itself.

    It looks like in the image that the hands on the red dragon can fold inside the forearm, either revealing a port or post where the wrist would be, that then slots into the black lion forearm just above an elbow joint. which is pretty cool because connecting it like this also allows for bicep rotation on top of the elbow joint. I'm trying to figure out how the lion paw pauldrons connect to the arm now and, assuming they don't detach and reconnect directly to the red dragon, it seems like they're connected to the piece that combines with the red dragon just above the elbow joint. but i guess we have to wait and see for confirmation. i was really interested to see how they would handle the elbow joint, too, given how the original toy functioned

    I hope it includes an alternate set of glowing eyes! Always preferred it to the blank visor.

    Victory Robo, linerboy and the Armadillo from Gaostriker/icarus included alternate stickers with glowing eyes so that seems likely
