At last we have our first full look at the 6th member of the Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger!

This new figure known as Spider Kumonos is a White Ranger with black and gold detailing. The Spider suit lacks the cape used by the other King-Ohgers.

In addition, we have a look at Kumonos’ arsenal!

*Spider uses the KumonoSlayer to transform, a bladed weapon with alternate powers unlocked by a set of keys.

*The Venomix Shooter is Kumono’s second weapon, a blaster loosely based on a can of insecticide.

Based on toy listings, Spider Kumonos should be hitting screens and shelves by May 2023! Stay tuned to TokuNation for further updates on this new member of the Super Sentai family!

    I think it looks neat. Definitely want to see more of the white spider, though.

    Is that a common mistranslation in Japan? I remember Gaim had the Banana Spear, a very obvious lance, and Kurokage's weapon was called a lance, despite being an obvious spear.

    A lance is a type of spear, so it's more a lack of specificity than it is a mistranslation.

    This is not only a Japanese mistake. In my language, the lance is also most commonly referred to as a spear, very rarely being said to be a type of spear. I think this happens to all countries in whose history there were no classic jousting tournaments.
    But confusing a sword and a spear is already too much.
