FIRST LOOK: Kamen Rider Gotchard!

At last we have our first images for the next Kamen Rider!

This is Kamen Rider Gotchard– a blue insectoid warrior with untold new powers!

Gotchard appears to take abilities from cards- his Driver supposedly fuses the Hopper and SteamLiner cards for Gotchards’ base form.

The true story of Kamen Rider Gotchard remains unconfirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this new chapter in Kamen Rider history!

    Looks like Gotchard literally pops/transforms out of a Showa era rider. Perhaps Henshinzero's assumptions about Legacy Rider are not far from the truth. The weapon looks interesting, maybe too toy, but after Geats it's okay. I like this soft blue shade, very beautiful and corresponds to the marine theme. We also have an insect again, just three years after Zero-One.

    Chrome blue is certainly a colour choice. Gives me CrossZ Charge vibes.

    The belt is also pretty streamlined. The weapon is pretty bland, though.

    Also our first train-themed Rider since Den-O? Unless there's someone obvious I'm forgetting.

    Not sure I like how some of the blue armor panels have an almost mirror finish. If it was instead kind of like the metallics used on Barid Rex in terms of shine, I'd be fine with it. LOVE the helmet though.

    I like the simple weapon. It means that things will definitely get amped up like crazy as the show goes on.

    A lot better looking than Geats imho.

    Just never felt/got into the whole "kitsune/Fortnite" motif. Hope the show is classy and or interesting, I/we have been spoiled with fairly serious shows for so long... it's getting to be about that time where Toei goes "yup, let's make this Rider a complete buffoon *guffaw, guffaw*"

    Considering the ease with which the show killed long-running characters, yes. As if Takumi was also a "total dunce", which did not prevent Faiz from being considered a tragic rider himself.
