Bandai Japan has released the first official images for the next Shokugan Modeling Project entries!
The time has come for Mirai Sentai TimeRanger and two offerings are shown:
TimeRobo– the classic set of five TimeJets capable of Alpha Beta & Gamma formations.
TimeShadow– an iconic support Mecha capable of combining with TimeRobo in Alpha & Gamma form to create TimeRobo Shadow.
The TimeRobo set is a main release while TimeShadow is a Premium Bandai exclusive.
Both are set for release in January 2026!
Go Over Time & Space...
The stand connected Time Robo Beta is pretty indicative: it's completely impractical to try to make that form stay upright on its own. It also looks like a Tamashii stage, so I doubt the Time Robo will come with it.
Man, I really loved Timeranger?s designs. Unfortunately, I?ll have to pass due to being broke.
I'm a tad disappointed. Timeranger's mech are...Fine, but never really blew me away.
I wonder if Time Shadow is coming with the set, or is a separate release.

Welp, gonna have to keep an eye on this one.
Ugh, I'm a little tempted. I confess the transformation from the jets to Time Robo Alpha is pretty impressive by comparison to modern Sentai; it looks like a unified design with less kibble than usual. Time Jet Gamma is also pretty cool in a Jetman way. Time Robo Beta... well, the change in the silhouette is impressive, even if the rest of the design is "skipped leg day; now, I will fall on you."
I'm a sucker for interesting transformations, and Bandai Candy has been picking pretty great mecha in that regard.
Would love to see an SMP Providus in the future.
