The next entry in the fan-favorite Shokugan Modeling Project is officially revealed!

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mahou Sentai MagiRanger SMP takes on the legendary MagiKing!

This release recreates the five MagiMajin Mecha – MagiPhoenix, MagiTaurus, MagiFairy, MagiMermaid & MagiGaruda in superb detail with additional retooling developed to increase articulation without sacrificing stability.

The MagiMajin are capable of combining into both MagiDragon AND MagiKing– with further retooling in the MagiKing design to reduce the size of the figures’ chest while allowing full articulation in its iconic wings.

SMP MagiKing is tentatively scheduled for release in June 2025!

Bandai has published a short teaser for the next entry in the Shokugan Modeling Project series!

While apparently a random sequence of numbers, astute Super Sentai fans will recognize the spell codes from Mahou Sentai MagiRanger!
So it seems very likely that MagiKing will be the next major SMP release.

The Shokugan Modeling Project continues on in the celebration of Gosei Sentai Dairanger‘s 30th anniversary.  With SMP DairenOh releasing later this month, we now get our first look at the Shokugan Modeling Project Won Tiger (or MMPR Tigerzord for those unfamiliar with Super Sentai).

This upcoming model kit allows you to build Won Tiger and recreate plenty of iconic scenes from Dairanger/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  Check out the included pictures for combinations and some amazing pictures.  The item retails at 13,000 yen and is scheduled to release in Japan in December 2023.

The Shokugan Modeling Project continues on with Gosei Sentai Dairanger!  Revealed earlier in the year and available via Premium Bandai in Japan, you can pre-order the upcoming SMP Dairen’Oh via site sponsor Tokullectibles.  Bandai has now teased an upcoming SMP Won-Tiger item (aka MMPR White Tigerzord) with a silhouette of the item.

Quite possibly the greatest release of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger’s Ninajman – or “Ninjor” from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – is on it’s way!  The Bandai Candy Blog has revealed the upcoming release of Ninjaman – part of their Shokugan Modeling Project or SMP line – via Premium Bandai!  This is different from the Shodo line released earlier as it is taller with more functionality.  Also, it’s a model kit you build, so there’s that little part too.

Check out over 30 official and design images in this story!  The SMP Ninjaman can also interact with your previous SMP Kakuranger releases, as shown in the pictures.

Pre-orders for this item (and pricing) have not yet been revealed at the time of posting.  Pre-orders begin December 20th Japan time.

The Bandai Candy Toy blog was recently updated with an in depth look at a sample piece for the forthcoming Shokugan Modeling Project GaoHunter, at the end of the blog Bandai teased that the next release following GaoHunter will in fact be GaoKnight! No further release info was disclosed, though we’ll be sure to update you on the release date and pricing info once pre-orders for these exciting new model kits go up.

With the release of Shokugan Modeling Project GaoKing, Bandai’s gone ahead to tease the next of the Gao Ranger Shokugan Modeling Project  releases, as the title suggests it’ll be none other than GaoSilver’s Shokugan Modeling Project  GaoHunter.
