Power Rangers Super Megaforce Legendary Morpher Gallery

Posted on November 29, 2013 at 9:47 pm by Chris under Power Rangers

Tokunation.com continues coverage of the Super Megaforce toy line release with a gallery by photo staff member conundrum of the highly anticipated Deluxe Legendary Morpher!

The Morpher is based on the Mobirate from Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger but is a completely new mold from Bandai of America. It has three ‘generic’ sounds that play when the unit is turned on, the keypad is pressed, and the Ranger Key is removed. The Morpher also makes two team related sounds per key when it is inserted and turned.

The Legendary Morpher weighs approximately 4.5 ounces with three button-cell batteries inserted. Folded, it is approximately 4.5in long x 2.25in wide x 2.25in thick. Open, it is approximately 8.5in long x 2.25in wide x 1.5in thick.

The Legendary Morpher is packaged with the Red Mighty Morphin Ranger key and the Red Super Megaforce Ranger key. Each key is approximately 2.5 inches tall in ranger form and 2.75 inches long in key form. Although considerably smaller than the Gokaiger keys, the Super Megaforce versions do have well sculpted details and well applied paint applications.

Is the Dx Legendary Morpher or Ranger Keys worth picking up? Check out the gallery after the jump and add your own thoughts to the discussion!

For some reason this morpher reminds me of the samurai megazord. All the detail is molded in the plastic, it's just not functional. Still I think this is one of the coolest morphers we've had stateside.

Ah,thanks for showing the inside of MMPR Red.I was thinking they would put the logo of each series in the middle of the circuit pattern on the inside of the key and now I know for sure.

The Morpher grows on me every day. I purchased it the day it was available at my local TRU and I had fun with it for like 5 minutes, and then I was like "....meh". But every day since then, I still take it out and put the key in and turn it and be a total nerd ...

Which is more than I've done with a large number of my purchases.

I love this thing. I actually like the US keys more than the Japanese ones. It might just be my love for small colorful things speaking, but the amount of detail is practically the same, and the spring makes them so much fun. They feel the right size for keys, and they definitely help the morpher feel like an actual phone instead of a huge brick (not that the Mobirates wasn't fantastic). It obviously doesn't have the premium quality of the Japanese toy, but it's a huuuuge step up from Bandai of America's recent outings. Now I just need more keys. And I need them fast.

Also in shrunken shinobe review he did say the helmet on MMPR red looks better the the BOJ Zyuranger helmet key
