There was very little to share for the Godzilla line from Bandai at this year’s SDCC 2013. The Legendary Godzilla was never revealed unfortunately. But here are images from the display case.

Really? Name tag, sheet, but never revealed? That's kind of a bummer. Makes you think they just didn't finish it in time.

At this point I'm inclined to believe he was never underneath that cloth, and merely provided another way to add to the Legendary movie hype. I guess I'd be okay with that, if it meant knowing in advance we'd never see anything instead of the lack of details we got either way.

There was never anything under the cloth.
I'm not kidding. It's actually just a couple of rods or something holding the sheet up.
However, someone recorded the Godzilla encounter and he looks like the big thick Godzilla that was on display, only slightly slimmer. Very, very Godzilla-looking.

It sucks to read that there was never an actual figure/vinyl under that cloth. We know from the press release that Bandai is doing a line of toys for the new movie, so...what was the point of the "figure under cloth" bit?
I'm looking forward to seeing what they've got in the works. Hopefully we'll get a look at something from NYCC later this year. Even just a singular Godzilla figure would be great. Would suck if we had to wait for next year's Toy Fair to see anything.
