Another gallery, another entry for our Toku Toy Box Giveaway!
When the Power Rangers Dino Charge call upon their Megazords to do battle with the “monster of the week”, sometimes the evil foot soldiers known as Vivix will crawl all over each other and become the giant Vivizord, an unintelligent brute of a monster bent on destruction! While menacing in looks and appearance, they hardly do more than just slow down the Megazords.
Released in the final wave of the regular Power Rangers Dino Charge 5″ figure line, this guy is available NOW in all major retailers (that have the wave released, that is). But how does he hold up in terms of being a good or bad 5″ figure? Click here to find out and to enjoy 20 high-def images!

Vivix! Merge and form DEVASTATO...er...VIVIZORD!
When one giant monster isn't enough, the evil foot soldiers of Sledge, known as Vivix, begin crawling on top of each other and eventually merge to form the evil giant monster known as Vivizord! These behemoth monsters have little intelligence and serve to do little more than be canon-fodder for the Dino Charge Megazord and Ptera Charge Megazord.
But how does the 5" figure hold up? Let's take a look shall we?
The Figure
First off it's important to note that this guy is HEAVY! He is definitely not a hallow piece of plastic - he is a brick and he's ready to be cemented at the feet of the Rangers!
Featuring very limited articulation (leg and arm movement ... that's it), he's still pretty beefy and has a TON of sculpting details. Say what you will about the overall look or quality of toys made by Bandai America, but lately they are knocking these sculpts for the villains OUT OF THE PARK! This is easily one of my top "WOW!" figures in terms of how it looks and the amount of details they put in to the figure.
Again, you're not going to get him in to ... well, in to any pose really. But the detail on his mouth-hands (is that a term?) and his overall body will keep your occupied and is just about makes up for the lack of articulation.
The Accessories
Sadly, there are no accessories with the Vivizord. It could have been cool to include a little plastic mold of like two or three Vivix glued together ... but that would have probably broken the bank and caused this guy to have NO paint applications from the waist down. Easily forgivable.
The Good!
The Bad!
Overall Conclusion!
There's not much to say about this guy in terms of selling him to you or getting you to avoid him. His entire purpose is to give your 5" Megazords something to fight. And ironically, the articulation from those figures and this guy will pretty much be identical to the poses shown in the actual show during Megazord battles.
If you're collecting, yes, buy this guy. If you're only getting cool pieces, this guy LOOKS cool but will not be one of those figures you can't put down. I recommend him only because I don't have any regret buying him like I do some of the others (CURSE YOU SLAMMER!).
Happy hunting! He's currently available (until Supercharge figures hit, then he's not apparently in the case assortment!)

So it's the Vivix attempting to cosplay Godzilla lol.

Wow. This guy looks amazing. It's my first time seeing this design. It's very very cool. The limited articulation is a shame--really should be able to move its mouth at least, but still. Wows. I want one. I need one.

I really like the Vivizord! So much that I bought 5 figures of them, one of them being used as a phone stand. I give props to Bandai for giving us the Vivizord, as well as 5 inch Megazord figures for them to fight.

Eh, this guy's alright. Not the biggest fan of the design, but I'll admit they did pull it off accurately to the show. BOA gets credit for the villain figures this year, just for putting in so many details

So what we have here is a toy of a monster with hand-mouths, formed from what amounts to a massive orgy of smaller, lesser monsters.
I'm sold.

Somehow this guy reminds me of a mix between Godzilla, a hydra and... a slug?

That is pretty cool,I like the detail. This is like the most vilian heavy line up I ever recall seeing in a ranger line.

I really like this figure but I really wish they would have put a swivel for shoulders to give it a bit more movement. I guess I should just be happy they even bothered to make a figure of it.
