Tamashii Pickup Images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Omega

Posted on June 23, 2016 at 11:42 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

With some recent magazine scans confirming his release, Tamashii Nations has just updated their monthly Tamashii Pickup page with select official images of  S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Omega!

As confirmed previously Amazon Omega will be released in November for 5616 yen as a retail release. Though not pictured here his co-lead rider Amazon Alpha will also be released the following month for the same price. For now these images confirm the inclusion of 3 accessories for Omega; a Violent Punish slashing effect part, the Violent Break Spear, and the Violent Break Blade.

We’ll update you again when full official images are available for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Omega.

Probably Omegas Amazon form and not his Rider form? All I know is some people aren't getting presents this year....

I do wish Alpha had a bit more depth to his markings- they don't quite seem as physical as those on the actual suit, it's more like they're just painted on.

I'm leaning more toward a repackaged version with different/better accessories and a Tamashii stage, but who knows at this point.

The whole figure looks off if you ask me. The red is not dark enough and the green is not nearly as vibrant as it is on the show. You could blame that on these shots being photos of a magazine but we’ve seen the figure on display and it’s not much different looking.

That, and as you mentioned the scars are painted on in areas where they should be sculpted. And I don’t feel the headsculpt for some reason either, I can’t quite put my finger on it but it’s just not right looking. I feel like Tamashii really dropped the ball on this one, the figure looked weird to me the second I saw it and it only continues to look bad IMO.

Which sucks because I really like Alpha's design but I don’t like the figure. Omega looks way better in SHF form in my opinion. I'll probably end up buying both anyways since I like the show so much and because they're both retail releases, but I wish they would’ve done a better job with Alpha.

I disagree about the red not being dark enough. The suit itself is that colour, but the entire show is put through a filter to make it look darker.

What I don't get get why they went with the old style hips for these figures.

Interesting, I haven't thought about this. I looked up a few pics from the suit on display and it does look like the same color. Aside from the green, that one really needs to be a bit brighter on the figure.

No one does. They randomly started using them for the Ghost figures and now it looks like every newer figure will have them.

    Yay, they're both retail releases!

Curious what the Omega variant will be and whether I'll want that one instead though. But at least there's an easier to get alternative regardless.
